My neck is red

Real quick before I get into my weekend recap, I want to say sorry for posting that Kony video. The more I thought about it, the more bogus I found it to be. Sometimes I get caught up in the hype, and now I see the light. So, moving on.

This past weekend I traveled south to what I thought was going to be warmer weather than Northern Utah. Vegas, and St. Geezy were warm, but so was northern Utah. I guess global warming was the best thing that Al Gore ever did for us. Anyway, I took down the GT distortion mtn bike and my pinnarello road bike to get some good training in, along with watching my boys at the WAC tourny, and possibly a NASCAR race.

Riding was awesome to say the least. I got worked at bootleg by a bunch of dudes on 29ers, but really Im not into this whole climbing up a hill on a mtn bike. I say lets sprint it out.
Thursday night I witnessed the train wreck of Aggie basketball. Never have I seen them look so disoriented, and clumsy, and plain flat lazy. I say good riddance to Pane leaving after a few years of sucking. We lost out, the first round. No big show for us this year. Oh well, looking towards next year already, we have some gunners for sure.

Saturday we rolled out to the outlets in Primm, shopping with two other dudes. Ill leave it at that. Back to Vegas to buy Nascar tickets. Then to St. Geezy for the night. Got a really nice road ride in there, brought the pain on some climbs on that bike, quick little sprints, and it feels good to be on the skinny tires.

Saurday wake up call early to ride one helluva mtn bike trail. Short climb with an awesome descent, with berms, jumps, rollers, and wall rides. I was too stoked on that trail and could have spent all day there, but I had NASCAR to get to.

Back to Vegas for the Nationwide race. This was my first experience in NASCAR and it didnt disappoint. The people watching at one of these races is beyond amazing. The cars were legit as well. I mean watching it on TV is one thing, but then to see a car wrap a corner at 180 mph is rad. I would probably go to another race, but I think I want to check out indy racing, those cars interest me more. However, Danica Patrick is #7 in Nascar, and I have a #7 on my plate, coincidence or fate? Yet to be decided, hahaha. It took a solid two hours to get out of the parking lot after the race, hell. Back to St. Geezy for the night, but not before destroying the Eureka buffet in Mesquite. It was a good weekend, but I really missed my girls.

No pictures this time because Im lazy.
