CEE ATTLE

Last week the wifester I took a long overdue mini vacation together. We chose to go to Seattle for some random reason, but it turned out to be one of the best trips I have ever been on. Going into the trip the only thing we truly had to do was get from the Airport to the hotel. Turns out in Seattle this is the easiest thing ever. Landed in Seatac, walked for a few minutes, hopped on a train for $2.50 a ticket destined for downtown. Off the train and a short two block walk, we were in our hotel, and ready for the three days of adventure.

I think one of the main reasons we chose Seattle was because my wife is a dirty little trollup and wanted to meet McSteamy off of Greys Anatomy, yeah I was laughing inside when she became dissapointed that the show isn't shot on location. Haha, you're stuck with me woman.

We found some cool places online that we wanted to check out, and had a ton of suggestions of places to see/things to do.

The short list of some places:
Seattle Underground tour
Pikes Place Market
Original Starbucks
Space Needle
Gum Wall
Ferry to Bremerton
Shopping district

We walked everywhere we went and enjoyed being together every minute. Missed the gromlins something fierce. Its funny everytime a couple would walk by with their kid, we would let a few minutes pass and then both remark about how we missed the lil one. luf her. Anyway here are some pics
The wife fitting in Seattle at the Starbucks, Ipad, Starbucks cup, she just needed a north face jacket.

Rad old school elevator. Our hotel was right downtown, older and completely re done. It was perfect. Had a Seattles Best coffee shop in the lobby, but Im an elitist. Yeah their both owned by Starbucks.

Thought this was a cool shot.

Im everywhere

This was taken from a little eatery that we found while walking in one of the many hallways at Pikes place. Seriously, you could spend all day here and not see the same thing twice. This place had the most legit Clam chowder ever!

Tourists

Having fun around the space needle with some artsy shit. They charge 20 bucks a head to ride an elevator to the top of the space needle. Nah.

A few pics of the old lady and I

On the ferry to Bremerton. Crazy big houses lined the shores.

At fifteen I was obsessed with a band called MXPX. they sing a song about bremerton and I needed to be there ever since. Finally made the destination. pretty cool, and this places food was really good. It was right across the street from the Naval museum. Bremerton has a lot of history for the American navy and the return of the Pacific fleet in World War II. I like learning about stuff like that.

Next up, SD at the end of March. Even though its for a race, the wife and kid are coming along and I am excited.

rice cakes and pudding

I get bored at work, and when I get bored, I eat. Todays delicious treats consisted of chocolate pudding and apple cinnamon rice cakes. Tasty combo if I do say so myself. While I am buying time waiting for my computer program to fix itself, I figured I would drop a few quick lines.

Well this weekend the wifester and I are going on a mini vacation to Seattle.
The only thing that we have to do is make it from the airport to the hotel. Other than that, we're just going to explore and whatever happens, happens. I am pretty excited about a few things in Seattle, such as the Space needle, Seattle underground, Pikes street market, maybe the air museum, the original Starbucks, and ferrys. Should be a good time, and I plan on taking lots of photos and having a hell of a time with the wife.

A while back I started some new work on my left arm/left chest. It has turned out great and I am excited for it to be finished. I did a photo shoot for a tattoo book that will be coming out in the Spring and I will let everyone know where they can pick a copy up. Should be good. To no ones suprise they incorporated my bikes. We were going to use the gromlin, but she was napping and we dont wake the grom when she is asleep. So here is a sneak peak of one of the photos. Maybe one day I will post a photo of the new one. eh, maybe.
