Texas

Texas is crazy. When they say everything is bigger in Texas, well, they mean it. Went for racing, did pretty good. Im going to let the pictures do the talking. I will say though, I love states that have smoking restrictions. Heres to eating some mashed potatoes and getting lung cancer at the same time.

Jerry with bmxmania.com getting all abstract on this one

This is part of the mtn. pass I drive over everyday, thought it was cool so I put it in here.

Martijn Jaspers from Holland. Taking a nap in between motos.

the door of our trailer, really pumped to be on that door.

What in the Sam hell? these things were everywhere.

check out the sweet horns underneath the trunk.

Our pit area in Texas.

I like the green spokes in the rims.

Grammas role in style in Texas.

All and all it was a good trip. Texas was a decent place to visit for two and a half days, but thats about it. Everytime I have been to Texas the wind blows, and I hate the wind. Its awesome to see the culture of other states, and makes me appreciate Utah when I leave. Up next is Chula Vista in a week so that will be good. This weekend is the bday, so we will be racing Go Karts, and I plan on putting the wife into a corner or two.

Daylight savings

Daylight savings time is awesome. I get to come home from work and have some outside time with my ladies. I love it.

She loves to go on rides on my bike with me. The second she sees me on my bike she runs to me to go on a ride.
She has been teething alot lately, like four molars coming at once teething. she is still a trooper. I think she got her pain tolerance from her ma, cause Im a sissy.

Oh Jib. I miss him, but he is doing well at bad doggy boot camp. Goes skiing all the time and loves having other homies to play with. I still miss him though.

She likes using them teeth.

The trampoline park was awesome. She goes crazy, loves the foam pit. Just wait til she sends it on the strider into the foam pit. I love being a dad.

My neck is red

Real quick before I get into my weekend recap, I want to say sorry for posting that Kony video. The more I thought about it, the more bogus I found it to be. Sometimes I get caught up in the hype, and now I see the light. So, moving on.

This past weekend I traveled south to what I thought was going to be warmer weather than Northern Utah. Vegas, and St. Geezy were warm, but so was northern Utah. I guess global warming was the best thing that Al Gore ever did for us. Anyway, I took down the GT distortion mtn bike and my pinnarello road bike to get some good training in, along with watching my boys at the WAC tourny, and possibly a NASCAR race.

Riding was awesome to say the least. I got worked at bootleg by a bunch of dudes on 29ers, but really Im not into this whole climbing up a hill on a mtn bike. I say lets sprint it out.
Thursday night I witnessed the train wreck of Aggie basketball. Never have I seen them look so disoriented, and clumsy, and plain flat lazy. I say good riddance to Pane leaving after a few years of sucking. We lost out, the first round. No big show for us this year. Oh well, looking towards next year already, we have some gunners for sure.

Saturday we rolled out to the outlets in Primm, shopping with two other dudes. Ill leave it at that. Back to Vegas to buy Nascar tickets. Then to St. Geezy for the night. Got a really nice road ride in there, brought the pain on some climbs on that bike, quick little sprints, and it feels good to be on the skinny tires.

Saurday wake up call early to ride one helluva mtn bike trail. Short climb with an awesome descent, with berms, jumps, rollers, and wall rides. I was too stoked on that trail and could have spent all day there, but I had NASCAR to get to.

Back to Vegas for the Nationwide race. This was my first experience in NASCAR and it didnt disappoint. The people watching at one of these races is beyond amazing. The cars were legit as well. I mean watching it on TV is one thing, but then to see a car wrap a corner at 180 mph is rad. I would probably go to another race, but I think I want to check out indy racing, those cars interest me more. However, Danica Patrick is #7 in Nascar, and I have a #7 on my plate, coincidence or fate? Yet to be decided, hahaha. It took a solid two hours to get out of the parking lot after the race, hell. Back to St. Geezy for the night, but not before destroying the Eureka buffet in Mesquite. It was a good weekend, but I really missed my girls.

No pictures this time because Im lazy.
