shitty

Yesterday my in laws had to put down Harley dog. Such a bummer deal. He was the wifesters dog, but when she went away to school he had to stay home with her mom. Eventually harley met Larry and they were inseparable, I think Lar married Jackie more for Harley than Jackie, but thats just my guess.

Anyway, it was such a heart crusher. Best guess was that a tumor attacked a cluster of nerves by his brain and he lost function of his hind legs, and then the rest. It was quick so he didnt suffer.

Im gonna miss this guy, he was a really good dog. Stubborn as hell, a good role model for jib (he needed one), and really good with the grom.

Run free big fella.

Same Ol Aggie experience

This weekend was a whirl wind. Had to wake up early to go get one of the Unimogs to drive in the homecoming parade here in good ol Logan. It such a typical shit show when it comes to this parade. They are completely unorganized and no one has a clue what they are doing, good thing our trucks are bigger than everyone else, or we still might be somewhere on the west side of Logan, and you know what they say about people on the west side, tanner......Anyway, this was the groms first experience of a parade, and she got to meet big blue, she wasnt too sure about this fella. I have a feeling though, that one day she will love him, she just needs to understand him a little.

After that we came home and veg'd out for a bit. Of course I had to mow the lawn for the first time in weeks, before I could veg out, but I knocked it out and to my man cave it was. We are bouncing from series to series on Netflix, tried Lost for a bit. But it just seems to just kind of go on and on and on and on and on. And really, when Walt appeared in the forest and was soaked and whispering, I was over it. What can I say? Im a va jay jay.
So next up we started Greys Anatomy, and besides merideth greys shitty narrations, its a pretty good show. I sure do wish the had season three of Sons of Anarchy on netflix, maybe they should take care of that for me. douchebags.

Then to the Aggie game we went. We rolled up a bit early to walk around the tailgating and say hi to some of our peeps for Sigma Chi. Good peeps, but we had to get to the game. We are lucky enough to have a suite in the endzone complex, and that is where we rocked it out. The game was good, but in the end, its the same damn thing. Aggies blow it at the end. Kills. me. everytime. The groms had fun though, and thats what matters.

Today was another clinic in Tooele. Had to get up at Five thirty and be there by eight. Great training, and I see so much improvement in the crew. Excited to see where it goes. Then to the bosses house to hangout with the wifester while she baby sits his kids. spent another couple hours playing out in the front yard, dinner, and then trampoline. My boss has four kids, so the wife watches the four of them, the groms, and me. Im such a kid its ridiculous. I found a trike and started riding it, wife came out, saw me, and just shook her head. Thats a "W" in my book anyday.

peace.

Subi Love

I miss my Subaru. It was such a fun little car, and I felt like it fit me perfect. But being a reasonable person, (after losing many a battles with the wife, boss, and controller) I sold it. Im cool with it though, because now I have my own bike shop on my side of the garage.

This video however, is Rad! My homie Josh Lewis put it together as one of his first shorts and I am stoked on how it came out. Hopefully we will collaborate on something one day.

Its Monday, and Im on strike.

Its Monday morningish and I am on strike.  I dont really feel like putting in the time today, so I think I will blog and then get down to business.  Life as of late has taken a strange turn.  I now commute to O-Town for work.  It was put out there to me that this was a good option, so here I am.  I now have a window in my office, so I guess thats a plus.  It was hard to swallow at first, kind of shook up my world, so in a year when we can sell our house, we will move south to Farmington or Centerville.  Crazy days for sure.
I have somewhat been on a hiatus from racing, I am still riding alot, but just have slowed down with racing since the worlds.  Gearing back up with the training this week for the grands in November.  I started my own private training with racers of all ages, and I absolutely love it!  I love the feeling paying it forward and hopefully some of the racers grow and will be able to do what I have been fortunate enough to do.  I will keep you all updated on my riders as they progress.

The Gromlin is growing up so fast, she is just so rad.  The wifey and I went to a wedding in Park City this last weekend and we couldnt wait for her to be with us.  We might be pretty proud of her and show her off alot!  Just love my little groms.

few weeks ago I got to have breakfast with my oldest homie, Rowdy.  The last time I saw him was in the spring of 2001.  I grew up right next door to this kid, and we pretty much spent everyday together until High School.  He is one of my all time best friends, and it was funny that when we finally got together it was like we have never skipped a beat, rad.

Speaking of homies, ZJC is now linked to me forever.  Taking it up pain level, he was inducted into the family with some ink. Gnarly!

Love my wife, she lets me get away with so much.  I know how lucky I am, and I hope she knows that I really do love her.  I am taking ideas for a vacation, so if you know of somewhere warm, (besides Mexico, I dont wanna get shot), let me know.  She deserves a vacation, and Ireland got ixnayed pretty quickly, so Im on the hunt.

Later skaters.
