Lake Powell

For those of you that done know, we haven't been back to Lake Powell since the day we left seven years ago.  It was time for me to get over my demons and I wanted to do a surprise trip for my little, so we did just that.  I got off work on Friday, came home, grabbed the grom and made the little road trip down south.  I made this video for HMAE because she wanted to make a video with daddy.

South Carolina

After a crazy, hectic few month, I asked the wifester if I could head to South Carolina for some races.  I have never been to the Carolinas so it was cool to yet again experience a new place.  Day one we were able to go and visit the Joe Gibbs Racing compounds.  Since GT sponsors some of the MX athletes we were granted access to some of the raddest stuff.  Unfortunately for you Im not able to post any of the pictures that I took, but it was cool for sure to see how much money they dump into MX and Nascar.

The races were cool and the weather held out for us all weekend.  I was able to put together some good laps, and just enjoyed the experience.  I like not having any pressure to perform, just show up and have fun and do my best.  Finally after 34 years I might be getting the hang of that.
