Sk8day Sunday.

(my favorite from the day)

Some good friends from the past showed up in Logan this morning for a little skatepark/Logan High session. Be that Logan is straight Nazis when it comes to bikes on the skatepark I opted not to get arrested today and grabbed my camera rather than my bike and met up with Cam, Derek, and Paul.

(Derek, Cam)
We havent seen each other in ages, and I find awesome that we can go years without seeing each other and when we do, its like we havent even skipped a day.

Spokompton anyone?

(they dont yell at you at the tourny for taking photos from your seat)

Took off to Spokane Thursday morning to go watch my boys play in the NCAA, while the outcome wasnt exactly what I had hoped I still had a blast. We had seriously awesome seats for the game, and even though they lost, Im a true fan and there always going to be my team. Wimpy had some car issues on his trip up but he and his sisters made it safe and sound. I saw him for a collective five minutes when we enjoyed our pregame Bahama Mamas (well just me). Other than that he just yelled at me for not going crazy, even though he likes to watch games like me.
(one of the rivers that we saw)
Spokane for the most part is a dump. One of my buddies referred to the place as Spokompton, and I would have to agree for sure. We stayed at the Norther Quest hotel, where once again the white man has exploited the American Indian, but hell, the place was a month old and Super freakin nice, so exploit on whitey!
Im glad to be home, but I came home to a country song, my wife left me for the weekend, took my dog, and my car. Chris Ledoux where are you when I need a song?
If you're bored and not working, google Wallace Idaho, Im going to die in that town.

Sums it up pretty good

City on Down by O.A.R.

Well, in the end, my friend, we will all be
together again Clutching onto my hand, in a
valley we'll stand, just living again And in a
while we'll smile, march on another mile On
hallowed hills, attached to the land we'll be
still No one's ever gonna say a thing And we'll
be together, together again Taking off to the
city on down Just a while ago my soul was
confused, amused at what it did not know Days
went by, and amusement cried, I decide to let My
soul fly on by itself , pick happiness up and
bring it back to the shelf We'll be okay one day,
in this valley we'll stay No more moving on I knew
it was right here all along Won't have to hold
your crown, no more looking around Just holding
you tight in the city on down Just a while ago my
soul was confused, amused at what it did not know
But days went by and amusement cried I decide
it's time, I got to move on now But I was so
scared I was frightened, somewhat enlightened So
I changed shoes Now I walk through a valley of
color much better than the other Way I did not
know, but now we can be united Miracle, miracle
sighted, and I'm pulling it in I know by now we
can all walk together at a regular speed Do you
dare to be excited , are you aware somewhat
delighted? Are you aware somewhat delighted? At
what you did not know Let's take it to the city
on down

I broke my butt

Yeah, you read it right, I broke my butt. Sunday in the final main event of the indoor season I once again found the soft stuff in turn two, and succumbed to the forces. What I initially thought was a heck of a charley horse, turned out to be a broken tailbone. Timing sucks, considering that we leave for Phoenix in a week and a half, but no worries. The great thing about BMX, we dont sit on our seats, I usually get yelled at if I sit on my seat.

Tonight I went and did some sprints in the church parking lot by our house. I got shut down pretty quick, some car pulled up and wasnt going to have me ride in the empty parking lot, nope, I guess my rubber tires were going to cause damage, and I looked like a damn hoodlum!
Haha, so I rode my roller in the mancave while watching a movie. Remember when you were a kid and your mom told you not to play with a certain thing in the house, my mom told me to ride my bike in the house, haha, I rule.

Strength

I just wanted to boast a little bit. It has been over a month since I have had a cup of coffee! You all know how big of a deal this is for me, and I feel like I have kicked the habit. I do miss drinking that sweet nectar of the earth, but not enough to drink it.
I pass the time with a cup of hot chocolate every now and then, but I don't see myself going back. GO ME!
